Multi-role learning management system
A Blackboard-style learning platform for a vocational academy — five distinct user roles, compliance-ready student data architecture, and parallel web and mobile experiences on one shared backend.
01The problem
A growing education business was running enrollment, coursework, grading, and communication across disconnected tools. Student data compliance (FERPA, COPPA) ruled out most off-the-shelf platforms, and off-the-shelf LMS pricing didn't fit a growing academy.
02Our approach
We designed a custom learning platform around their actual daily workflows: five distinct user roles — from super-admin to student — each with its own dashboard, permissions, and mobile experience. AI-assisted development compressed the build timeline while a senior engineer owned the architecture and every release.
03The result
A single platform now handles courses, assignments, grading, messaging, and administration — compliant with student-data regulations from day one. [RESULT_METRIC — e.g. hours saved per week, enrollment growth, once measured.]
